Santiago Winter

This is one of our students. His family runs a little chicken restaurant - Pollo Fello. He invited us to come for lunch. He is so sweet!

Every January, the police check for who got new tags. If you don't have a tag your moto will be loaded onto a flatbed and hauled away. You will be on foot!

View from the monument in Santiago. Our apartment is hidden behind the gold building on the left.

View of the road leading out of Santiago to Santo Domingo

Los Misioneros

Break Dancing at the monument.

Our 2nd semester Pathway class.

Our 1st semester Pathway class.

These were falling on the sidewalk. I think it is a sour orange. It was kind of mushy and very sour!
Five of our Pathway graduates.

Cute little girl at church.

Papaya growing.

A very energetic positive street vendor in our neighborhood. He always has a smile! Looks like he is getting ready to sell avocados.

Couldn't believe it when I saw this heavy winter coat in the display case. The irony is that the mannequin is barefoot.

The boots to go with the coat. The first time I've ever seen anything like that here. I guess it is winter!
Picnic spot?
Watering the chia van.

How we ride in the rain.

Cute little guy in the classroom across the hall at church today.

Standing on a folding chair to write on the board.

Selling flowers for Valentines day.

Woman selling charcoal.

We see this man in our neighborhood all the time going through the garbage.

With his finds.
