Last Adventures

When it rains, the women use grocery sacks for their hair.

Adventure and Family

The Noordas are here!! We are so grateful for our daughter and her family's visit!

Cacao can grow anywhere on the tree. This plantation is one of the largest producers of cacao used to make chocolate all over the world.

A very clean bathroom - the woman actually cleans while you go! No TP and flushing with a bucket. Clean bathrooms with toilet seats are a luxury.

Elections are coming up. The mayor has the city workers wearing these T shirts and hats. I asked to take one man's picture and he gathered all his friends.

Pineapple fields. You can barely see the goats grazing. Goats also graze in the tobacco fields.

It is orchid season. There are hundreds of varieties growing everywhere. They are gorgeous.
