Our Christmas Celebration

Nice view of Santiago from Camp David

Pictures from Camp David - all the senior missionaries. Kim is taking the picture. Our mission president is standing.

Street sweeper on our street using a palm frond broom. Sorry the picture is blurry.

Sunrise on our walk
 Poinsettia tree in our neighborhood.

I guess that's one way to haul hay. Cram it all in your mini van.
Nativity scene at the temple.

Santo Domingo Temple

I am NOT wearing white nylons. Yikes!  Somehow I keep thinking my skin is getting darker. Ha, Ha!

Pretty lights across the street from the temple

The Noordas sent us these cool glasses to wear while we looked at the lights. They were awesome!!
What a wad of cotton candy. On the square with the lights. Kids are the same all over the world!
Our Christmas morning
Our tree kept falling over so we propped it in the corner. It was a mission office reject.

Merry Christmas

Feliz Navidad from the Dominican Republic

 Water delivery

The Team
 Interesting Mrs. Santa
 Food from the street
Mini Mart taken from the church parking lot (notice the protection at church)
It's always good when your milk is long lasting!! We haven't seen any milk in a milk carton here. They just have dried or packaged in boxes. That's one thing we are looking forward to in the US - a real glass of milk.
 Elder Walters at a branch.
Missionaries in our district came caroling to us and brought us a treat.
